Flight Pass Easy guide
With the Flight Pass Easy, you can create your own digital boarding pass and add it directly to Apple Wallet on your iPhone or Apple Watch.
You can then access your pass directly from your Lock Screen near the airport, or just double-click the side button. It’s fast, convenient, and supported by most airlines.
✈️ Step 1: Generate Your Boarding Pass
- Go to the Flight Pass Easy.
- Scan a barcode.
- Review the fields – most will be pre-filled from the barcode.
- Click “Generate Pass”.
- A modal will appear to download your
.pkpassfile.
📲 Step 2: Add the Pass to Apple Wallet
Once you download your .pkpass file:
- Open it on your iPhone.
- Tap “Add to Apple Wallet”.
- Confirm by tapping “Add” again if prompted.
💡 If you’re opening the file from an email or browser, your iPhone will automatically recognize it as a Wallet pass.
🛫 Step 3: Use Your Wallet Pass
You can now use your boarding pass at the airport just like a real ticket.
On iPhone:
- Tap the notification when you approach the airport.
- Or double-click the side/home button.
- Authenticate if needed (Face ID, Touch ID).
- Scan your screen at the gate or security checkpoint.
On Apple Watch:
- Double-click the side button.
- Scroll to find the boarding pass.
- Tap to open and scan.
🤝 Step 4: Share Your Pass (Optional)
Want to send the pass to a friend or family member?
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
- Tap the pass you want to share.
- Tap the Share icon.
- Send via Messages, Mail, or hold near another iPhone to transfer.
⚠️ If you don’t see the share option, the pass may be locked by the issuing airline or doesn’t support sharing.
🧠 Tips & Notes
- The pass may auto-appear on your Lock Screen when you approach the airport.
- You can add multiple passes for round-trip flights or different passengers.
- Express Mode is supported by some airports for faster scanning.
🔄 Remove a Pass
To remove a pass if needed:
- Open Wallet app.
- Tap the pass.
- Tap the three-dot menu (…) and select Remove Pass.
